Website Reconstruction and Re-engineering

Reconstruction of a website involves the re-engineering of the code of the website, and may or may not alter the design and appearance of the website.  Website reconstruction services are suited for clients who already have an existing website that may be difficult to manage, or has become outdated.  Website re-construction is also useful when clients wish to utilize the Elephanet to add, update, and delete various components of content on their site.

Content Management

The ability to manage a website, adding and updating content and making stylistic changes, is heavily dependent upon how the site is constructed. Sometimes a client who wishes to make changes to the content of a site is prevented from doing so based upon how the site has been developed. A poorly engineered website may suffer from content changes, while a site that is properly developed will maintain a consistent appearance after changes have been made to it.  Re-engineering the code of a website can help to ensure that the changes made by the content managment function of the elephanet will correspond to the overall design and appearance of the site.

Design Considerations

Clients with existing websites may wish to preserve the design and appearance of the site following reconstruction. Alternatively, clients have the choice of having a fresh but simple design which emphasizes the textual nature of it's content. I do not offer extensive graphical contributions in the way of image formation to an existing site. If this was desired, a client would be advised to work directly with a graphical web designer.
